The golf trousers are made by Slanj. They are made from polyester, which means they are quick to dry on the golf course, and hard-wearing. They are trousers rather than trews – cut with more room in the leg. Seamus told us:
I’ve had these golf trousers about six months. The first time I wore them, I got a birdie! I pretty much always wear them when I play golf now, because they are now my golf trousers. Golf is a more acceptable environment in which to wear tartan. I wear them because they are Macpherson tartan trousers – I wouldn’t wear other tartan trousers to play golf in. They are golf trousers, rather than trews, though I wore them at Christmas when I may have otherwise worn trews.
