Mairi MacPherson’s Red Mini Skirt

This mini kilted skirt is a ‘bumbee’ – something that resembles one of the Macpherson patterns but isn’t.

I bought this because I thought it was funny – so close, and yet so far! There are a number of things ‘wrong’ with this pattern: the blue is actually purple, and there are no vertical yellow or double white lines. It gives the impression of being a ‘horizontal’ Macpherson red!
