This knee-length kilted skirt in the ‘Hunting’ is made from soft wool and has been let out several times. There is no label or maker’s mark.
This is one of my favourite pieces of clothing – it is soft and warm and just right. It was a lucky internet find that was a little too small for me, so I moved the buttons a bit. It turns out that I wasn’t the first person to do this – there is an old bit of thread near the side that shows it must have originally been a size 4-6! I particularly like the fabric-covered buttons.
