This Hunting scarf or sash is 100% wool. It has a fringe on it and was made by Strathmore. Jean told us:
I bought this in the Clan Museum at Newtonmore and I’ve had it for about 7 or 8 years. I thought it would go very well with my skirt, and I thought it would be very good to wear with a jacket or a top. I wear it nearly always at the Clan Gathering, but the other day I wore it to church, for Easter. At the Clan Gathering I wore it for the march when I marched, and I would still wear it to go to the games even if I didn’t march. I wear it folded in half, just over neck – but it can be worn as a sash!
