This kilt was made by Aitken & Niven, schoolwear makers, in Edinburgh. It originally belonged to a Bruce McPherson. Seamus tells us:
This is a really nice kilt – it feels lovely, thick and blankety. My wife has let this out and taken it in over the years, and it fits me really well now. This is now my go-to kilt – I wear it to church, to some clan events, to funerals, at Christmas. Wearing this Hunting kilt makes me feel like I belong because it is worn by many clan members at clan events. I think the Hunting is really beautiful – and unique.
