Seamus MacPherson’s Red Dressing Gown

This dressing gown was made by Marks & Spencer under the ‘St Michael’ label, prior to 2000. It has a rogue double yellow stripe that makes it a ‘bumbee’ tartan – something that resembles the Macpherson tartan but isn’t quite right.

I love this dressing gown and, like my Red pyjama bottoms, wear it every day. It’s nicely made and surprisingly warm.
